Was going to join, but just a little to warm (for me) for any kind of push, and I kinda need a day off from riding . I'm out of town next Wed but the following week fo sure. Probably going to head up the hill tomorrow morning before work though. |

It wasn't just crazy hot last night, it was super humid too. I rode from my house to Burke, and I had gone through half my water before I hit the gun club. |

I did a lap on Burke last night too, I've never seen the bugs as bad as they were at the gun club. _________________ http://davemackie.exposuremanager.com/ |

| Did a Burke TC down Tues after work and my jersey was completely drenched by the time I got to the top. Same thing this morning at the top of Massage. I think my motor runs a little hotter than most. May need a new thermostat. Nice cool ride this morning though. Bugs have been nasty at Burke and hardly any at Eagle today. |

Do you guys not shower or something? I was up Burke yesterday afternoon and again this morning - no bugs. My riding friends didn't notice any either. Maybe they only come out in the evening. I'm going tomorrow night to check my theory. |

We kept moving so the bugs weren't too bad. Didn't notice it was too hot/humid either, maybe you guys are too used to ac? We had a fun rip from woodburner to Old Orchard! _________________ Everyone needs something to believe in, I believe I'll have another beer! |

Burke Bug Bulletin for July 23 @ 10AM Only minor amount of bugs @ the gun club and none @ upper Vic's . Being a novice fly fisherman has taught me that insect hatches can be very localized and at certain times of the day. As a side note I did shower today. |

| Still lots of sun at 7-7:30pm at the top of 4Lost. If you're not sessioning stunts, or waiting around, there's still plenty of light all the way back to civilization. 4Lost and Dentist were really nice last night. Not super dry, but also not that buggy. |
